No Show Policy

At Barnett Allergy & Asthma Center, we value your time and the time of the families we serve. Because many of our patients require ongoing care such as allergy testing, immunotherapy, and asthma management, appointment availability is limited.

We respectfully ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer that time to another patient who may be waiting for care.

Missed Appointments

If you:

  • Do not arrive for your scheduled appointment, or

  • Cancel with less than 1 business day's’ notice

A $50 no-show fee will be applied to your account.

This fee:

  • Must be paid in full prior to your next scheduled appointment

  • Cannot be billed to or paid by your insurance company

Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy, you may receive appointment reminders via:

  • Patient portal

  • Text message

  • Phone call

Please understand that these reminders are a courtesy only.

Failure to receive a reminder does not waive the no-show fee. Patients are ultimately responsible for remembering and attending their scheduled appointments.

Late Arrivals

We make every effort to run on time and respect our patients’ schedules.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment to avoid delaying care for other patients.

Repeated Missed Appointments

Repeated missed appointments may result in:

  • Additional fees

  • Rescheduling restrictions

  • Dismissal from the practice

Our goal is not to penalize patients, but to maintain fairness and availability for all families under our care.
